Examples of C&K gut renovations and adaptive reuse include 330 West 38 Street, a 17 story industrial building converted into attractive and functional commercial lofts and 224 West 30th Street, a 14 story fur storage building converted to loft office space for mostly tech oriented firms. C&K also revitalized the massive, 1.2 million SF Pier 40, which had long stood vacant. C&K repaired and repositioned the property, expanded the parking, and leased it to 100% occupancy by FedEx, The New York Times and others.
