Investment property only functions economically if it serves the occupancy needs of tenants. C&K Properties’ leasing plan thus commences well before the asset is purchased, in that we select buildings to acquire because they satisfy the needs of an indentified tenant base. We then cultivate and maintain long term relationships with these tenants and all the brokerage firms that serve them. We can do this because we are in our primary market every day, maintaining local contacts and a local perspective, and working collaboratively, honorably and creatively with the entire leasing community.

Senior executives at C&K are directly involved in the leasing plan for every building and, moreover, in the negotiation of each and every lease, including rent and term, escalations, tenant improvement cost and commissions, expansion and extension options and other key items.
